Barry Allen was an ordinary CSI working in the CCPD(Central City Police Department), one night, a lightning bolt stoke into his office and hit Barry the chemicals he had in his arms. Then, he Stayed in coma for four months, he woke up with super speed. After the accident, he tested his powers and ultimately decided to help people and become the Flash. He choose the name Flash because in Barry’s earth, Jay Garrick was a hero in a comic book. but then he accidentally travelled to Keystone city which is the city of the older heroes that were trapped by The Thinker, (which is another Jay Garrick era’s Villain). Barry went to keystone city that were eventually found out to be Earth2 and woke all of the heroes in the city. Barry Allen is also a founding member of the Justice League of America.

Barry Allen is also a very good friend with Hal Jordan the Green Lantern, they had met and fought side by side before forming the Justice League. Barry and Iris has been friend since they were little, Barry once proposed to Iris on a Ferris wheel, and they got married. After the wedding, Professor Zoom, also called Reverse flash, which is an arch enemy of the Flash Killed Iris.

Iris’s nephew, Wally West, visited his aunt in central city, and he is also a huge Flash fan, so Iris arranged Wally to meet the Flash, the flash showed him how he became the flash and when Wally was holding the chemicals The Flash told him a lightning stoke on Wally and gave him Super Speed. Later found out that the lightning was actually controlled by Barry to do the exact reaction to make Wally a speedster. Wally later became Kid Flash to fight side by side with the Flash.
