Wally West is the fastest man alive, but it isn’t the speed that makes him the fan favorite, it is his way of being a hero that made the fans fall in love with this character.
Wally West got his powers from a accident in Barry Allen’s lab, later he began to start his crime fighting life as a sidekick named Kid Flash.
When his mentor is fighting crime with other Superheroes, like the Green Lantern, Batman, and the Justice League, Wally also made friends with others. Wally, Dick Grayson who was Robin, Garth who was Aqualad, came together to fight crime and decided to create a team called Teen Titans with Wonder Girl, Donna Troy.
After Barry Allen Died in Crisis in infinite earths, Wally continued Barry’s legacy and took his mantle, The Flash.
When Wally was the flash, he made friends with lots of people, and also villains, His Arch enemy Hunter Zolomon.
Also, his rogue gallery knew that he isn’t the original flash, he doesn’t want to replace his mentor, some of the villains actually knew his secret identity. The way he be a hero, is differnt to others. When other heroes try to take down their enemy and put them in the prison, Wally tries to reform his Villains. Heatwave, a villain of the flash once reformed and became a hero.
Wally had many adventures in his run, many of them pushed him to become faster and ultimately became the fastest. He is so fast that he had raced the death and won. Another reason Wally is great is because he had created new ways to use the speed force, like using the speed force to make his suit, he is also the first speedster to escape the Speedforce.
In Infinite crisis, Wally disappeared and led to Bart becoming the flash. They later found out that wally had actually ran to an alternate Earth. When he returned, He became the Flash again because Bart was killed by the rogues and Inerta.
After flashpoint, he disappeared and the whole universe didn’t remember him until he returned in DC universe Rebirth.
Wally lost control in Heroes In crisis, and he went to prison, he is going to go on a adventure later in Flash Forward.
Wally has appeared in TV Show the Flash, and also the animated show Young Justice.
