Flashpoint is one of the most important events in DC history, it changed everything.

At the beginning of the story, Barry Allen woke up from a nightmare and found himself in a world a little different from the one he was in. It was like living in a different reality, the people he knew were different. His wife, Iris West, became the wife of someone else, the weirdest thing is that his mom is alive. His mom was killed when he was only eight, but now she is standing right in front of him, Barry was so happy, but at the same time, scared.

The news everywhere is about the world ending and how the world is terrible, Captain Cold is a hero in this reality, and the justice league doesn’t exist, neither does Superman. The most terrifying thing is his powers, it is gone. Because of this weird situation, he went to see one of his old friends who always have a solution to anything, Batman. Barry went to Batman’s Wayne mansion and went into his Batcave, but when he got there, he didn’t find Bruce Wayne, instead, he found Bruce’s father, Thomas. Thomas is the batman of this reality.

Batman helped The flash get his power back by getting struck by lightning again. Barry memories of the previous reality started to be erased and it was replaced with the news of the local news. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are in war and they lead two of the best armies, Themyscira and Atlantis. The world is about to end.

Barry and Batman tries to stop the war with Cyborg, they went into a government building to get Superman out, but once he got out and reached the sun, he flew away. At the same time, the war starts and people died. Flash and Batman are helping to stop it. At this moment, a speedster in a yellow suit appeared. The Reverse Flash. At first, Barry thought this happened because Reverse Flash did something evil

Later in their fight, Eobard Thawn showed barry what actually happened,

Which is Barry went to the past and stopped his mom from being killed, which caused a huge butterfly effect and changed the whole world. After knowing this, Barry decided to go back and stop his previous self from saving his mother, but Reverse Flash’s existence slowed down Barry’s Speed. Reverse Flash is beating Flash so much that he is about to kill him, then,

Thomas Wayne came out and killed him. This helped Barry to go back and save reality. After this event, everything turned back to normal… but not actually.

The whole world has been changed for some details like Wally West is erased from the world and no one seems to be noticing that. After this event, DC started its New 52, which is a reboot of their Universe.
